It’s also stunning to know that the Giant wheel can be seen from some of the islands of Indonesia and Malaysia. 4. Singapore Zoo Singapore Zoo is hands down one of the best zoos in the world! The best part was that I didn't have to feel guilty for animals in cages. There are no cages, and the animals are free to roam about! Now, don’t be scared. It’s an incredible experience. You can even trek foot tracks or take a guided tram to see exotic animals such as the endangered white tiger, or the largest collection of proboscis monkeys in the world. It’s definitely worth a last day experience to walk around an award winning zoo. 5. Underwater World The only one experience with pink dolphins in the world! A day at Underwater World feels straight out of the movies, as if you've finally lived your ‘life’! Feeding sharks and sting rays, a thick-glass distance from incredible marine species, is sure unique and thrilling. 6. Merlion Legend has to say that Merlion (a half fish and half lion guardian) would visit Singapore every year to safeguard the city. Coming from a land of Legends myself, stories really captivate for me the essence of cities! This icon attracts visitors from all over the world, and you must visit it too. Who knows you might uncover some more interesting tales yourself! From the Merlion Park, you can also take a cruise on a bum-boat to explore attractions such as -- Boat Quay and Clarke Quay. 7. This is also the world’s first safari park for nocturnal animals and their dimly lit homes. Your eyes might take a while to adjust, but you’ll be embarking on a journey with around 2500 animals within 35 hectares of dense rainforests! If you’re lucky, you might even run into two giant aviaries – of Malayan flying foxes and giant flying squirrels! Walking into wallaby trails is an experience you would never forget either. 8. Botanical gardens If you’re still tired, suffer from jet lag or need a break from the city, the 74-hectare Botanical Gardens of Singapore is the island of calm. Adding to that, this also houses the highest rooftop pool in the world! Majesty at its best is Marina Bay Sands! 10. Gardens by the Bay Unless you were a part of the movie, this is the closest you’re going to get to Avatar. ‘Gardens by the Bay’ has an exotic array of flora and fauna from all over the world. And guess what? They’re housed in huge bio-domes Cloud Forest and Flower Dome. What you’ll love most, however, are the gigantic and beautiful Super-trees, dressed in lights and music every evening!
