Kannan Devan Tea Museum located in Munnar is themuseum that displays growth of tea plantations from tea rollers to fully automatic factory. Here you can also see royal furniture of 20th century such as wooden bathtub, cash safe, magneto phone, iron oven, typewriter and much more. The tea manufacturing unit of this museum should not be missed because it displays various steps of tea processing. The Mattupetty Dam is a storage dam which was constructed in 1940 for the purpose of power generation and water conservation. Now this dam is an important source of electricity generation and a shelter for many birds and wild animals because of constant availability of water here.
