Based in Kumaon region, “Lake District” is easy to reach and is adored by millions.  2. Kullu, Himachal Pradesh kulluKnown as the “City of Gods”, Kullu and her twin sister Manali is a tourist favorite for no useless reasons. Illuminated by scraped temples and festivals round the year, this city would leave in gaze her beauty in awe!  3. Mussoorie, Uttarakhand MussoorieFamed as the “Queen of Hills”, Mussoorie is the travel and education hub with the best of boarding schools. This extremely beautiful hill station will completely captivate your senses. The nearby places like Rishikesh, Dhanaulty, Dehradun are added perks of visiting this wonderland. If you are there, Doon Valley and Ropeway Cable should top your list and not to be missed.  4. Gulmarg, Kashmir GulmargLiterally meaning “Meadow of Flowers”, this place is scenic and filled by daisies, blueberries and other beautiful variety of flowers. And this fantasy land has a premier golf resort and famed as a skiing destination. You really need more?  5. Darjeeling, Assam darjeelingThe “Dreamland of East”, Darjeeling is adorned by beautiful exotic waterfalls, ‘unparallelled-beautiful’ hills with flowers of every season and shade, and its world famous tea gardens. 6. Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh dharamsalaAbode to His Holiness Dalai Lama, Dharamshala is no less than a nature beauty queen with snow-capped mountains, beautiful landscapes, and awe-inspiring Himalayan views!  7. Nandi, Karnataka Nandi“The Sunrise Hills of Karnataka”, Nandi Hills has the most spectacular sunrise view you’ve ever seen or imagined! Throughout the year, Nandi Hills has a pleasant weather, Monsoons being the best time! The mist around the hills gives it the whole divine heavenly feel impressing your entire being!  13. Matheran, Maharashtra matheranThe smallest hill station in Maharashtra, Matheran is the only auto-mobile free region in Asia. The best part about this place is the amazing toy train ride from Neral to Matheran that covers the entire region in a while.  14. Khajjiar, Himachal Pradesh khajjarMostly unknown to the rest of the world for quite a long time, this place came to be known as the mini Switzerland of India after 1992. The brilliant greenery and landscapes will surely make your heart skip a beat!  15.
